Browsing around Campillo de Ranas, find the small museum Roizo, where models are the main protagonists. One would expect to see out of one of those little doors to Captain Lemuel Gulliver on his journey through Broddingnag ...
Instead, Juan Andres Roizo is able to reduce any traditional housing to a minimum but with maximum detail. An art that not only requires dexterity and precision but much observation and study a great detail. And of course, patience. That virtue is not now customary.
When one is in front of his creations can appreciate the ability to recreate to the knots of wood on a door and see how everything is in proportion and harmony. This is no accident, a wood working is achieved at the scale at which they are made their artwork.
The observation of detail is the base and the top of any of their homes, buildings, mills, Taino ...; small works depicting traditional homes and offices of the Black Architecture of Guadalajara. The inside of a chocolate, a farrowing the upper Tajo Manchego or house of any inland town, all of them, keep the flavor of yesteryear, their customs, their chores ... like they were made to actual size. Your gallery plows and useful field is vast and thorough as it covers not only themselves Castilla La Mancha but other communities.
In the Sierra de Ayllon and Ocejón, in the Natural Park of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara, find spaces like Roizo. An example of that slate and quartzite typical of the architecture are the hallmark of this territory and are reflected at any scale.
You arrive to Seville and you are really happy with your wonderful apartment. The city looks beautiful, you feel the warm Andalusian sun…and now ¿how to discover this exciting city?
You can walk around –and you should- but, can you see everything that Seville has to offer that way? You can take the Hop-on Hop-off bus, but you don´t want to feel like a typical tourist, right?
